D'Aryhian Clemons

Clemons is a three-sport athlete who also plays hoops and runs track. He’s one of the state’s top high jumpers and qualified for the State Championships in the event as a sophomore and a junior with a personal best 6’5”. He has also clocked a 10.98-100m this past Spring and his speed translates well to the football. He’s a two-way player who could play running back or corner in college but it looks like the defensive side of the ball will be his meal ticket. He did rush for over 1,000 yards as a sophomore and showed plenty of shake and wiggle. As a corner, Clemson could end up as a boundary or nickel. He’s about 5-11, 180 pounds but has the length and speed to play outside and the quickness and feet to match up with slot receivers. He’s a physical kid who can jump routes, plays aggressively and has a nice edge in his game. He shows off both short area quickness and change direction you have to have at corner along with the long speed to turn and run with the faster receivers. With his ability to make big plays with the ball in his hands, we would advocate for him to return punts and kicks as well in college and like him as a high Power 4 prospect who can play for just about any program out West.
