2013: Appeared in three games, all in a reserve role, before a joint decision was made during an off week (Oct. 21) to shut down all activity because of a right elbow injury (which eventually required surgery) ... Completed a combined seven-of-11 passes for 57 yards (63.6 completion percentage) in contests vs. Florida Atlantic, North Carolina and Southern Miss ... Finally made collegiate debut against the Owls in the fourth quarter, completing three-of-five passes for 11 yards ... Tossed first career completion to Cory Hunter on an eight-yard screen ... Experienced fourth-quarter action against North Carolina at Kenan Stadium, but did not record any statistics ... Established career-highs in completions (four), attempts (six) and passing yards (46) vs. Southern Miss is what turned out to be his final appearance of the season ... Guided ECU to a field goal in the third quarter ... Two of four completions went for 10 or more yards (26, 10) ... Rushed twice for -10 yards against the Golden Eagles.

2012: Did not experience action during first active season on ECU's roster ... Promoted to the top backup position in the third week of the season, prior to the Southern Miss contest.

2011: Redshirted during initial season in ECU program ... Provided notable efforts to scout team once cleared from ankle injury.

Prep School: Threw for 3,840 yards and 39 touchdowns at prep school Cheshire Academy in 2010 ... Tallied a Connecticut single-game record 637 yards passing against St. Thomas More ... Threw eight touchdown passes in back-to-back games against St. Thomas More and Westminster ... Guided Cats to an 8-1 record and a New England Preparatory School Athletic Council Dan Rorke Bowl title in 2010 ... Passed for 435 yards and two touchdowns in bowl victory over the New Hampton School ... In all, established six state and two national passing records during one-year stay ... Played for head coach Danny O'Dea at Cheshire.

High School: As a senior at Maranatha High School (Pasadena, Calif.), led team to 9-3 record and a quarterfinals appearance in the East Valley Division of the California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section playoffs ... Minutemen went undefeated in conference play for the first time in 23 years ... Finished senior year completing 157-of-235 passes (66.8 percent) for 2,212 yards and 21 touchdowns ... Added 507 yards and 10 TDs on the ground ... Head coach at Maranatha was Joel Murphy ... Graduated from MHS during commencement exercises in May, 2010 ...
