Chucky Hepburn

Chucky Hepburn is an experienced two-way guard who started every game in his three-year career at Wisconsin. He is a table-setting style point guard who runs the show with good pace and a controlled handle.

He's not an overly dynamic creator, but he can get downhill and get paint touches attacking off middle and side pick-and-rolls. He made a significant jump as a finisher this year, making 58% of his attempts at the rim after converting just 43% a year earlier per Pivot Analysis. He doesn't shy away from mid-range shots, and likes to step back when attacking his left side. Off the ball, he's a capable, albeit streaky spot-up shooter, who made a career low 32% his attempts from behind the arc this year, after converting 40.5% on higher volume a year before. He keeps weakside defenders engaged by being a good cutter though.

Defensively, he's an ideal tip of the spear, because he can pick up full court and pressure the ball. He also ranked in the top 50 in the country with a 3.9% steal rate, in large part because he's very adept at reaching around defenders to poke the ball away.
