Long, athletic frame and very rangy in the secondary. A true free safety who shows good ball skills, can hit and play in space. Not great in one-on-one coverage at this point in his development, but very good in zone coverage and flashes the instincts you want to see to make plays on the football. Attacks the line of scrimmage and is an excellent open-field tackler. Has good straight-line speed and can run down plays from outside his area. Is a high-level athlete. Plays with a nice physical edge to his game and is a big hitter who can separate a ball carrier from the football. Has shown excellent skills as a receiver as well and has a knack for the big play. Has the frame to fill out and gain size and strength. Upside is very high. Projects as an upper tier Power 5 starter and future NFL draft pick.
