Is a twitchy mover and plays with explosion in defending the pass and run. Triggers quickly in recognizing runs and short passes and shows some striking power on contact. Has a high interception rate with an outstanding nine picks as a junior. Has advanced tracking skills and general playmaking ability on the back end. Also sees time as a return man and wide receiver for his high school. Emerged on the recruiting radar later than most top prospects. Projects as a starter at the Power Five level with the upside to develop into a NFL Draft pick.
