High-cut pass rusher that did nothing but produce as a senior totaling over 100 tackles and close to 20 sacks while facing stout competition down in the Sunshine State. Verified measurements are a bit dated, but draws a scout’s eye in with his long arms and a wingspan that has to be stretching at least 6-foot-9. Shoots around the corner with the intention of breaking down pockets. Has a few different moves in the toolbox including a two-handed swipe, which has caused plenty of issues for opposing offensive tackles on Friday nights. Naturally upright runner that surprisingly doesn’t exactly labor all that much when asked to change directions and has shown that he can make stops outside of the hashes while in pursuit. More explosive than one would think at first glance and has an impressive 9-foot-10 broad jump on record. Spent most of prep career working out of a three and four-point stance. Likely to do the same on Saturdays, but making the transition to a stand-up 3-4 edge player isn’t exactly out of the question. Should be viewed as a future starter at the Power Five level if he can avoid setbacks and keep progressing.
