Cale Breslin

Breslin is one of the top backs in the state and has been since his sophomore year. He has good initial quickness and burst and can hit his top gear after just a few strides. He’s probably more quick than fast but does show the ability to out-run a secondary at the HS level. He has excellent vision and patience and you does a nice job waiting for holes to develop and then exploding through. He has some shake and wiggle to him and is able to make cuts and make defenders miss in the open field without having to gear down and can maintain his top end speed. He’s a tough back as well and doesn’t shy away from contact. Breslin showed he can run clean routes and catch the ball out of the backfield at the All-22 event in Las Vegas in March and projects as an every down back who can be used in any situation.
