2014 (Jr.): Earned Academic All-Big 12 Second Team honors… Saw time in 11 games, including a start at right guard against Central Michigan.

2011 (Fr.): Redshirted his first year at KU.

High School: Ranked as the 40th-best player in the state of California and the 65th-best offensive tackle in the nation by Rivals.com... Named Second-Team All-Southern Section by Sectionsports.com... A three-year letterwinner as an offensive lineman... Team was 7-4 his senior season... In his junior season the team went 13-1 and won its second-straight Suburban League title and a CIF-Southern Section Southern Division championship... Played baseball as a freshman.

Personal: Born in Fullerton, California... Son of Doug and Ellen Peters... Earned his bachelor’s degree in management and leadership in May 2015... Currently working on a masters degree in accounting.
