Brant Banks

Has a tall, long frame. Measured a legitimate 6-foot-7 and was 244 pounds the spring of his junior year. Has filled out more since then, but needs to continue adding more bulk and strength. Moves around the field easily. Was a two-way guy in high school. His defensive film shows him running down plays and being more than just a big body. When asked to pull, he shows the ability to run and make blocks in space. One area for improvement is pad level. He comes out of the snap high and plays high at other times. He finishes blocks at times too, but we would like to see him be more consistent with that. He projects as a developmental prospect early on but has the size and athleticism to where, if he adds the strength, he could a starter at the Power 5 level. He played left tackle in high school, but he has the tools to play either side.
