Stoutly built, powerful offensive lineman with tackle experience who projects to the interior in college. Owns virtually college-ready size as a senior in high school. Not overly long, but broad-shouldered and barrel-chested with strong lower body. Intelligent player. Heavy-handed and violent at the point of attack. Packs a serious punch that can knock defenders off their base. Flashes impressive block-finishing ability thanks to strength and tenacity. Simply put, a bull in the phone booth who can plow the row in the running game. Must improve body control and balance, particularly when getting to the second level and when engaged. At times plays with his weight out over his feet. Burst and explosion are encouraging for an interior line prospect, but needs to tighten lateral movement. Shows occasional leverage/pad level inconsistency. Primarily a right tackle in high school so must acclimate to individual and unit requirements playing inside. Should be a quality a multi-year starter as a P5 interior offensive lineman and could provide roster flexibility. Potential to project to top half of NFL Draft.
