Big-framed defensive end prospect with experience lining up in multiple spots. Good height and length relative to projected position. Owns frame space to add significant mass in college if needed. Has played all three traditional odd-front spots in high school. Also has played standing on the edge. Best fits could be a traditional four-man strong-side end or a hybrid standing edge player. Builds impressive open-field long speed. Active and engaged against the run. Shows good extension and uses hands well. Encouraging pad level relative to height. Impressive production as a senior (23 TFL, 12 sacks). Can get quicker off the snap. At times appears to think rather than react and plays hesitant. Can improve closing speed. Needs to expand pass-rushing repertoire. Must improve lateral mobility and short-area explosion. Will need to add bulk and strength to combat Power 5 linemen at the point of attack. Possesses the physical tools to become a quality starter-caliber front-line defender at the P5 level. Added athleticism could drive ceiling to NFL Draft consideration.
