Well-proportioned build with solid muscle mass from top to bottom with ample room to grow. No bad weight on him which will make his development on the collegiate level that much more positive from the start. Shows plus reactionary athleticism as well as good range with his ability to close. Instinctive player who plays with a good motor. Comfortable when asked to drop in coverage to make plays on the ball.

Does a nice job of using his hands and length taking on blockers with the ability to disengage and not stay hung up on the block. Very comfortable at the point of attack where he is stout in the run game setting the edge. When rushing the passer, shows an assortment of moves, whether it's the speed rush, dip and rip, up and under, or the long arm he keeps the opponent off balance. Productive junior year with 83 tackles, 12 sacks, and two interceptions.

Has to make sure at times not to get his pads high while executing his move. Also needs to continue to focus on his flexibility as there is some tightness in his ability to change direction.

Possesses the tools and trait that make him an easy fit for a three- or four-down front. Had no issue playing either standing up or with his hand in the dirt. The interesting thing will be how big he will grow and that could dictate position fit.
