Bishop Boswell

Bishop Boswell is a big and strong guard. He’s competitive with a physical style on both ends of the floor that creates mismatch problems in the backcourt and allows him to play and defend multiple positions. He’s engaged defensively, should be very switchable at the next level, and also an excellent perimeter rebounder. He sees the floor well and has made notable strides as a passer and creator for others as he continues to develop into more of a lead guard. He has good end-to-end speed with the ball and looks to get downhill whenever he can. His first step isn’t quite as dynamic from a standstill, and so he rarely blows right by a set defender with his first-move in the half-court. Boswell is a capable spot-up shooter with his feet set (35% 3pt in the EYBL on 29-83 shooting), but will want to continue to develop, particularly in the mid-range area where he gets very little elevation into his release when shooting off the dribble. Overall, he continues to trend into a big guard whose size, strength, physicality, and increasing two-way versatility are his calling cards.
