Scouting Report

Projection
Power-5 StarterListed at 6-Foot-4 and 215-pounds with good length and ample room to grow and develop. Muscular build and frame where he can easily add 20 to 30 pounds. Very smooth and fluid moving player with good coordination and change of direction. As he attacks the weight room his whole physique will see a change.
Jobe is a very good athlete for someone his size. You see flashes of this when you see him return kicks and open up running in the open field. Excellent flexibility in his knee and ankles. Does a good job showing a good initial 1st-step out of his stance. Keeps his pads low and does not expose his chest by playing upright. He is able to flip his hips and run the hoop on his outside pass rush moves. Good overall quickness that is coupled with closing speed and acceleration. Solid with his hands and punch that will improve with added power and technique work. He is active getting off blocks, playing with very good effort and urgency. Shows that he is instinctive in his block recognition and understanding of his assignment off of those blocks to make plays.
The overall view of Jobe’s outcome as a player will happen once he gets into a college program. With him still being fairly new to football one could expect a nice uptick in every aspect of his game from the physical to the mental. That growth matched with what he brings to the table will allow for him to have a college career on the Power-5 level as a starter for at least a couple of seasons. With the demand for edge rushers steadily becoming more and more vital to the NFL game he has all the tools and traits to have a NFL future.
