A scheme-versatile defensive lineman that offers plenty of pass rushing upside given impressive get-off and ability to redirect. Measured close to 6-foot-3, 255 pounds spring before senior season. More notably, posted a laser-timed 4.8 in the 40-yard dash to go along with a blazing 7.3 in the three-cone drill. Shoots into the backfield with a nice forward lean and plenty of momentum. Active hands allow him to disengage from blockers and get home. So does a nifty spin move, which was on full display during Under Armour All-America Game week. Thrives operating out of a four-point stance, but has also found success standing up out on the edge during a senior campaign in which he racked up 15 sacks. Should, however, settle in as more of an interior player on Saturdays given growth potential and could slot in nicely as a 4i in an aggressive 3-4 front. Will need to get adjusted to life as a Power Five athlete, but has what it takes to eventually make an impact up front at the next level.
