Good athlete who also had some success on the basketball court as a junior, averaging 8 points and nearly 5 rebounds a game. Has some twitch and suddenness for an offensive lineman. Drives defenders while keeping his feet and balance. Defensive tape also speaks to his explosiveness off the ball. Tough, rugged player who finishes and plays to the whistle and coaches (see below) have nothing but positives to say about his approach to the game. Will need to find a best fit position wise. Has transitioned to tackle in high school but looks like he is built more like an interior guy, so whether he is a guard, center or swing guy, that is something that will have to be determined. From there, adding a little more size and strength to his 270-pound frame and then adjusting to the college level of competition will be key, but in terms of athletic tools and intangibles, he has the goods.
