Ari Patu

Patu has an athletic frame and the kind of body you might see in a small forward on a basketball team. He’s a mobile, dual-threat type quarterback with a smooth, easy delivery. He has plus arm strength and will make a big jump in this area as he fills out his frame. He’s very comfortable throwing on the run, whether it be rolling left or right and he can deliver the football from different arm angles. He’s not stiff or robotic like some young quarterbacks who have been coached up their whole life and why we think he makes a big jump once he hits college. He’s very fluid in how he throws the football and has the athleticism to escape and extend plays. He’s still raw in some area and will benefit from game experience after seeing limited reps as a junior. He’s a high character kid, very coachable and he has drawn rave reviews from those we have spoken to who are close to him. He's not a plug and play guy right now but with development, has an NFL upside to him for sure.
