Reminds Us Of

Andrew Coker TCU Horned Frogs

Possesses great height and length with enormous frame. Already owns college-ready size but wears mass well and could still fit more on his frame. Ample experience at left tackle. Could fit right-side role or remain on the left long-term with proper technical development. Length aids in pass protection. Big enough and long enough to negate pass-rushers on the outside even in situations where footwork and hand placement aren't ideal. Foot quickness improved from sophomore to junior season. Shows encouraging ability to combo block with efficiency of movement relative to size. Down-blocks well. Gets to the second level on schedule and flashes occasional punch when arriving. More catcher than puncher at times but owns high capacity for strength and power. Finishes blocks when available and looks for more work when needed. Naturally high center of gravity compromises leverage, but displays some promise as a bender. Gets out over feet at times and can improve balance and body control. Power Five-caliber offensive tackle prospect with high-floor physical tools to accompany a development ceiling that could possibly lead to multi-year starter status and a future beyond the college game.
