Highly aggressive and excels in man-press coverage. Physical at the line and shoots his hands quickly. Smothers opposing receivers off the snap. Plays some safety for his high school team and throws his body around as a run defender. Shows quick play recognition and instincts. Has good play speed. Can improve his tackling form as he almost always goes for the big hit instead of wrapping up. Will need to improve his strength at the next level and borders on being undersized. Projects as a multi-year Power 5 starter and a second-day NFL draft choice.
