A three-star recruit, Stamps enrolled at UK as a junior-college transfer in time for 2014 spring practice and quickly took over the starting free safety spot. He started all 12 games in his first season in Lexington, leading the team with four interceptions -- one more than the entire defense recorded a season earlier -- and ranked fifth on the team in tackles.
